Nero A few points,
Before Fisher got on board,Kodak stock had been lanquishing in the mid
to lower 40ies for years. If the stock did hit 60 it was because Fisher goined the company. Taking the job was a huge undertaking.When
he did get the job I remember the people at Moterola had nothing but praise for him.As far as a civic leader, Kay Whitmore did more for
local community than he did for the company(ie. lucrative severance
packages in buyouts). I believe Fisher is the right man for the job-
large salary and all(he even warned about the pending stock fall by
selling his options at 80). However I like to point out that I think the rest of the year will be tough. An example is yesterdays stock
action. The market was up and Kodak stock was drifting lower. If the
market corrects Kodak will leading the fall.
