As a newcomer, you may not be completely aware of the cast of characters here on SI.

LazLong has a long in the tooth reputation as being someone who is a hoodoo. He's a failed investor who finds solace in hectoring those who don't quite catch on to how useless he is the first time around.

He's likely to spread red herrings, instead of a red carpet in front of your feet. He's likely to take joy at deceiving you, at distracting you, at disinforming you.

In other words, he seeks to control you, but not let this in any way profit you.

He's the sort that Mark Twain wrote about in "Huck Finn". Laxative Long is petite grifter. You really ought not pay him a moment's attention.

I know that my time at SI was vastly enriched when I simply put "Lassitrudy Longunworthanything" on ignore. You will not miss anything worthwhile on SI by failing to provide an audience to this charlatan.
