Ridgeland, MS, AUG 19, 2003 (EventX/Knobias.com via COMTEX) -- The Annual
Meeting of Stockholders of Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. (AMEX:
WEL) will be held on August 19, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. ET, at the Crown Plaza
Brookhollow located at 12801 Northwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77040, for the
following purposes:
1. To elect one Class I director for a term of one year, one Class II director
for a term of two years and one Class III director to serve for a term of three
years or until their respective successors are elected and qualified.
2. To approve an amendment to Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc.'s
Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation effecting a one-for-four
reverse split of the Company's common stock.
3. To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or
any adjournments thereof.
Only stockholders of record at the close of business on July 3, 2003, are
entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting.
