I for one would not be fixated on the actual number but % of unemployed. Don't forget that our population is growing. Up here in NH, we are still going strong, not sure where the people are getting the money to buy these houses but they are. Also, alot of people selling out of the city and heading to the country. They are coming up here and paying cash. A good friend of mine just put his up for sale Friday and he has 3 offers one above asking. Mind you this is in central to northern NH where there are not a ton of high paying jobs. All 3 offers are from out of state buyers...
