They are socialists, we are much less so. The are regulated, we are much less so. We have orders of magnitude in manufacturing engineering, science, communications technology integration.

We are further up the exponential curve, we have to import far less energy and resources. We are more productive and that's about the law of acceleration returns.

Kyoto was about creating drag on growth and forcing the diversion of capitol to help others catch up.
