Interfax. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, 7:02 PM Moscow Time

MOSCOW. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Russia has condemned Tuesday's bombing of UN headquarters in Baghdad, which is believed to have killed at least three people and injured dozens of others.
"This barbaric act, which can have no justification, is designed to undermine the process of postwar stabilization on Iraq, a process that is difficult as it is. It is particularly outrageous that the terrorists' target was the personnel of the United Nations, an organization whose every effort is aimed at helping the Iraqi people overcome the consequences of the military conflict and normalize their life," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement made available to Interfax
