| Exploration Underway at Redrock Canyon Gold Project 8/19/03

Consolidated JABA Inc. ('JABA') is pleased to announce that the exploration program on its Redrock Canyon gold exploration project in Cochise County, southeastern Arizona has commenced.
Crews from JABA's geophysical contractor Zonge Engineering are currently in the field taking geophysical readings along the Prime Line using the technique of CSAMT (Controlled Source Audio-range Magneto Tellurics). This technique, which Zonge recently used to define a blind ore body in the Taxco District, Mexico, uses long wavelength electromagnetic signals to probe deeply beneath the surface to detect features associated with mineral bodies. The Prime Line is designed to be approximately 12,000 feet (3,750 meters) long positioned at right angles to gold bearing fractures which contain up to 1.6 ounces of gold on Gold Ridge, within the Redrock Canyon Project area. The Prime Line also crosses gold bearing jasperoid bodies as well as several intrusions of altered and pyrite (iron sulfide) bearing rhyolite.

Previous electrical geophysical lines including IP and Complex Resistivity, using older technology were reinterpreted by Zonge under contract to JABA this spring using more recent Inversion computer technology which allows more correlation with geologic features. This newly interpreted data suggested a response within a shallow favorable porous sedimentary unit (the Earp formation - named for the Wyatt Earp family) and correlating to the gold fractures in Gold Ridge. However the orientation of the older geophysical lines was not optimized for best detection. After geologic work, JABA was able to orient the Prime Line at right angles to the majority of gold bearing structures so geophysical response will be optimised. If anomalies are obtained along the Prime Line, parallel lines will be offset on either side in 400 foot (125 meter) increments and additional readings obtained. Using this technique and computer modeling a 3-dimensional image of the responding mineralized body with accurate depth will be obtained.

Geochemical samples will be taken along the same lines to determine where the strongest gold mineralization is evident. Further comparisons will be made with regional but highly detailed air borne magnetics and EM surveys. All this information will be combined into a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) database and analyzed in three dimensions so that subsequent diamond drilling will be optimized.

The initial results are encouraging. The CSAMT is optimized and is 'seeing'to a depth of about 3,600 feet (1,200 meters) in the ID phase. This will allow detection and modeling of the anticipated shallow mineralization in the Earp formation in the 2D analysis allowing projection to a depth of about 1,000 feet (305 meters).

Consolidated JABA Inc. is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company. JABA has a portfolio of drill ready gold, silver and base metal targets. These include four disseminated gold targets in Nevada; eight equally distributed between porphyry copper and disseminated Carfin Style gold in Arizona, USA, and two silver and base metal targets in Chihuahua

and Sonora Mexico and at least 4 precious and base metal bearing zones in Jaba's large Tecka-Platino concessions in Patagonia, Argentina. All of these projects have extensive technical work preformed on them which include remote sensing thematic imagery, geophysics, extensive geochemistry, and geologic -- alteration mapping. Numbering in excess of 20 targets most are ready for Phase II or III technical studies leading to drilling. JABA is actively seeking joint venture partners for the majority of these properties and is currently in serious discussion with a number of interested parties.
