I have met kids (5 years old) who tell me America is bad. I ask why, and they tell me; it is because Americans will make you use drugs and have sex before you are married. I ask them if they know that they are Americans and that they live in America. They say yeah but...and give me a confused look. Then I tell them that, because they live in America, nobody can make them do something that they know is a bad thing, and nobody can do anything bad to them because their Mommy and Daddy wont allow it. They respond with the usual look of satisfaction a five year old gives when they know their home is a save and protective place. It just rips my heart out.
