I have read interviews with them. I'd guess at least 100 interviews. They seem to be universally hostile to the US- and they also seem to think that we are much worse than we actually are. Now even allowing for some bias in the Arab press, I suspect the people whom they interview are a lot more representative than the people Mr. Friedman talks with- if only because Mr. Friedman is probably in a lot more danger from average Iraqis than the reporters for the ME news, and on top of that I doubt they would want to talk to him.
