There are penalties now, I believe, for allowing under 17's into (for example) R rated movies (I thought the penalties were enforced by the MPAA- but maybe not- will try to check on that). I'm not sure what the penalties are, but they seem to work, since our theatre does check. So, I'd like the agency (the MPAA) to tighten up the ratings, although they would need a good kick in the ass from the public to do it. But I am willing to kick them, and so are many other people. They have a web site, btw, wo feel free to write them. I have, and I encourage other people to write them as well. Apparently if you tell them you are liberal they will listen more attentively- so you conservatives out there, but your liberal bunny suits on when you write.
