No way Bill, oversimplification. This outsourcing we are witnessing means the most aggressively outsourced areas (all software I believe) are now "mature". Which means no more fat margins and growth rates for that area. There are inherent risks to offshoring in the IP area and when you don't care about those risks, it means you believe you will be competing on cost going forward anyway. This stuff coming out of apple is new, all consumer driven. And the chips to power these gizmos, all that is new and local. Enterprise software is gone though... notice Oracle was left behind in this rally. Those jobs are gone and that industry will just recede into maintenance.

The labor market wasn't all that great in 93/94 and the stock market was ... decent (not terrible), its not like you need a great labor market for innovation.
