I think X is right about how to approach this, at least the movie part. If the lefties and righties agree on this issue--and you know how rare that is--we could get the standards changed. No one's freedoms would be affected. The only loser is the movie business, which may do less, at least for a while until they figure out how to make appealing movies without all that crap. Or until the kids who have never seen it grow up not expecting it. And we'd have to do the same thing for music and music videos and rock concerts and other public events. Kids either go with a parent or they don't go. The people in the entertainment biz will learn how to find other ways to appeal. Maybe they could go to school off the Christian entertainment industry. <g>
