I've been having a problem with asf files. Some of you may have seen me post about this on Ihub. Sorry for the duplication.
I can hear wav files on my computer but not asf files.
I am using W98 and I have Windows Media version 7 installed. I did have Real One installed also but I uninstalled it. I also had Windows Media version 9 installed but thought maybe that was the problem and I went back to version 7.
Since that didn't help I am going to upgrade again to version 9. When I had it before I had the box checked to be able to listen to all files but I still couldn't.
Major part of the problem (at least I think) is that my husband still likes to use AOL so we have that on the computer. Something tells me that the problem starts there but I don't know where to look.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Sue
