Sometimes, especially for a long-time Texan, better decisions can be made away from the hustle, bustle, scrambling, and intrigue, of a place like DC.
That Service man, or woman, is going to tell their children that President George W. Bush was the best President they could have had in a military situation, and that their units had been rebuilt, resupplied, and given the best weapons in the world, so they could handle their combat duties better, and more safely.
