scorched earth policy is not good, it will not accomplish anything more than getting rid of a few Arabs and their camels........leaving them high and dry, sink or swim will not work either, we tried that in Afghanistan and all we got was the Taliban........
IMO, we need to infiltrate their Political and Military ranks, especially the political and control them from within, ultimately it is the only way........we are capable of doing this, we just don't yet have the will or the mind set.
they don't need much to be happy, a few goat eyes, some camels, a menial job, a pat on the back and a prayer rug.
