From what I can see, the sentiment is not against individual Americans, but towards the US foreign policy, and its use of force. Americans living around here say they are not feeling animosity at all, but frequently find themselves in conversations where people vent their frustration with the US government and its foreign policy. I think Dale was telling the other day about his vacation in France and how nice & friendly the people were...
