Where did the Jews of Israel come from? Many that survived the Holocaust fled to Israel. Many other Jewish families have lived in the area for thousands of years. Most of the rest were driven out of Arab countries, and had all their possessions stolen from them.

So, in other words, the Arabs nations brutally chased their country's Jews into Israel, and then continued to attack them there, for the purpose of killing ALL Jews. Israel is the "Arabian" Jews last stand.

As a Zionist, I only want Jewish people to be able to live in freedom and safety. That's all. It's what, I am sure, you wish for your own.

If the Arabs wouldn't continue their racist hatreds and religious intolerance towards Christians and Jews, my Zionism would not matter and America wouldn't need to fund Israel with billions to insure Israel's survival.

So, to answer your question, my Zionist wish for Jewish people to live in freedom and safety influences my thinking.
