'I cant help but be angry.' - neither can i, all tension-relaxing humour aside ... and we probably shouldn't help it, anger is there for a purpose, it stimulates us to fix problems, we need only channel it well .... and there's the hard part - we need something like, and at the same time quite unlike, the old adage Don't get mad, get even

Cool heads with the ability to distinguish 1. exactly what is the problem, and 2. how to fix it, that's what we need to channel anger into productive work, and neither zionists nor indigenous have such heads in power at the present time

'by arguing moral equivalence you give aid and comfort to the terrorists'

Not so .... what i have argued is far more situational than moral, although clearly morality will come into it, since everything done by anyone in such a crucial corner of the world will be judged by the Rest of Us, who will inevitably use terms of morality on it ..... but it is basically situational, two peoples with whacko religions fighting over the same lands ...... however, i would not term it 'equivalence', as clearly one of these peoples has been there for many centuries, and the other has recently invaded ... so all in all 'moral equivalence' doesn't apply ... as for giving anything to terrorists by posting on this thread, i rather doubt that is the case, as i do not expect any to be reading, since none ever post, to my knowledge not one palestino or spokesperson for the people has ever shown up here .... we've got zionists present, and we've got neutrals, and that's it

'You screw around with israel as a nation of thieves.'

Not so ... i cleared that up in the post to which you are responding ... never have i typed that, never would i type that ... probably would never have typed 'thieving nation' either, had you not brought up this baseless charge

The fundamental question is how to break out of the cycle of violence, and i suggest going to the root of it, and eliminating the religion from the invading state ..... wipe out all cultish influence from its constitucion and its law, make it a free country for all human beings resident, translate Liberté Egalité Fraternité into hebrew and arabe .... if that be termed by the zionists 'destruction of Israel', well then so be it, they've had their chance, and look where they got us

' Violence, therefore, was implicit in Zionism from the very beginning.' - #reply-18311394
