Jerry, thanks - and I do get it

As long as someone specifies their timeframe then their post is fine with me. If one doesn't do so, then the reader is left wondering whether the poster is speaking of a 5-minute chart, a 60-minute chart, a daily chart or whatever, or he has to try to guess a timeframe from the post's context. This makes a big difference because of course, as you point out, the chart reads for scalps are different for those on swings and position trades.

Now that you've made your timeframe clearer I'll know that you're not contemplating swing or position trades, but only scalps instead. But if you do decide to make a longer term trade, let us know more clearly by saying something like "went long on XYZ for a multiday swing" or something like that.

I hope my questions such as the last one are not irritating you, because let me say that I appreciate all the expertise and experience you bring to the board, as well as your P&F posts which is something we didn't see much of on the board before you arrived.

BTW, when Allan was posting here more frequently he was somewhat of a timeframe policeman, and posts regarding any movements on charts of less than a 15-minute timeframe were (still are?) verboten.
