I'm glad you mention Ireland. The problem there is very much similar as what you have in the ME. Until the Irish stop considering themselves as Catholic or Protestants and begin calling themselves Irish first, they will never have peace.

Jerusalem, the promised land to many, is too small to be divided. Why not stop the divisive approach and begin the inclusive approach where both Arabs and Jews unite under one flag, albeit with different religions? Just like many other countries around the world.
