People seem to have the impression that this situation is unique to this court house. It is not. For the past 10 years the ACLU has had a systematic program to remove the 10 commandments from thousands of court houses around the country. They have been there for decades and no one objected until recently. And you should know that they haven't been winning all these cases. Numerous displays have withstood the legal assault. The ACLU has a mighty task in front of it. Displays of religious significance are nearly ubiquitous in state and local institutions.
