Hi Bug,

Philips reports that Genie weighs 95 grams and has 500 hours of standby time. The phone also has voice activated dialing for selected numbers. They haven't released any info on battery weight, though, nor about CDMA applications. I was wrong about Toshiba... the company is actually Samsung and the CDMA phone is SCH-300 with measurements of 142 mm by 45 mm by 25 mm, weight of 142 grams, call time of 6 hours and standby time of 100 hours. I would imagine these are the numbers to beat for Nokia; the company is not releasing info on their CDMA entry beforehand. Sandkicking sounds just as bad as pall-casting... low-key, constructive, measured Nordic style of critique is all I aspire to.
