Well, now the 300mm road map is mostly completed, time for another line of thought I think.

I keep trying to come up with objections. Like pumpdown times to each vacuum stage would make it too costly. Nope, why pumpdown more then once? The process line could be like a hamsters adventure playground. Each tool stage can be modular like lego for design and process changes. You put a rod of silicon in one end, chips come out the other.

ps regarding "balls". Good idea -g- Are you thinking like circiuts made like crystal nodules?? Interesting but difficult to make from the outside in...

Perhaps a chip making micro machine that is placed inside a diamond crystal nodule. It then makes the chip on the inside then switches itself off. A bit "la de la" don't you think?? -ggg-

edit "la de la" = Far fetched idea (even though a good one worth keeping)
