I am amazed such an article got into the Stars and Stripes. Gosh, things are going to hell in a handbasket since I served. Anyone who thinks our professional Commanders dont care about THEIR TROOPS (Yep thats how they feel about the soldiers under them) is a complete IDIOT. Bush is our President and our Commander in Chief. He cant POSSIBLY keep track of each troop, that is the job of THEIR commanders. If the majority of the American people dont feel Bush is up to the task of protecting this nation they can vote him out in 2004. But such tripe blaming Bush for everything is just plain ASININE. jdn
