The Red Spando line placement was designated by don as to where he wanted them

The lavender line is drawn to touch the D reversal and is a valid adaptation....

There are arguments by some.... to ignore spikes as market excess and use the shoulders that surround pivots as cleaner marks for these types of lines.

The Internal Trend Lines are interesting in that they were drawn in 1999 and 2000.... carried forward to a point where they crossed in the future. There is a third that crosses in the same area, but not include on this chart.
This is looking outside the chart box.... so to speak. <smile>
