Re-reading the article I posted the link to, I see the following: Influenza: sporadic summer isolation, occasional clusters of disease without epidemic spread So the 'flu bug appears to be around in the summer, but no epidemic spread. But I've never seen any reference to "mild 'flu" in the summer. Peter
