You are correct, of course.

I was relying on a figure quoted by someone else in an earlier message.

My own warrants closed yesterday at 60 cents US, which would be something like 84 cents Canadian. I think that is too high a premium to pay.

Also, you are correct that the exercise price of a warrant is like the strike price of a call option and the terms can be used interchangeably. I think of them differently because the warrant is issued by the company and usually must be exercised to take advantage of any profit, by paying the excercise price to the company; tradeable stock options are less often exercised.
