Thank you. I said this back in March.

SV realestate is a unique market compared to the rest of california. Prop 13 was not a response to real asset appreciation. No one has much sympathy for millionaires getting richer through asset appreciation.


Stock options were not commonplace until the 90s, and there certainly was no tech stock bubble in the 80s (it was mostly a bear market for tech), and yet SV properties went up 5-fold and more.

The fact is you just can't blame everything in the world on the tech stock market bubble, I'm sorry to tell you that.
