Of course it says something about the symbol. People who would wield it like a sword have "issues", and people who are more laid back wouldn't sneak it into a court at night, or at all. The people who take up a symbol and run with it (especially run with it offensively) say more than words can say about purpose, and intent.

Of course the judge opened his big mouth- so you can read all about his intent in words as well.
