The primary reason that most of us would prefer to land in an American court than say an: Indian, Saudi, Israeli, Palestinian, Pakistani etc. court, is that we are convinced the symbols of justice here are less biased toward cultural or sub-cultural membership. We might end up getting a fair deal in one of those courts vs getting screwed in one of our own but; we at least want the perception going in that there are no leanings.
