Ray,

Good article. There have been more than a few times where I've seen the New York Observer run articles no one else will touch. I don't know if that makes them a good newspaper, but at least they offer some diversity in thought.

The major flaw as I see it is those who have managed to gain the ear of the media are still acting shy about coming right out and presenting their case against the Bush Cartel. Assuming the 4 moms are of at least average intelligence, and that they really have spent 18 months researching the events of 9/11, then they already know who did what to who and who got paid. I'm afraid anyone who has actually done their homework, and still believes the propaganda of al Qaida or bin Laden being connected to the actual mechanics of executing 9/11, probably isn't very bright. Credible evidence of a bin Laden connection just plain doesn't exist.

They're still acting like the mice who voted to bell the cat. If only the cat would hold still while they put a bell around its neck, they'd be able to hear it coming the next time. Aesop thought poorly of the tactic several thousand years ago, and at the risk of sounding unkind, I don't see it as any less of a fool's mission than he did.

There will eventually come a time when these people will no longer enjoy the lime light, and if they don't strike while the iron's hot, they may never get another chance.

It's long past time for those in a position to allow foreign criminals into the country, divert investigations, subvert security, divert defense response, warn their friends, pick up a little anthrax at the military base, cover up evidence and sideline investigations, while grabbing the loot with both hands, to face trial. An investigation is a good idea when the evidence is in short supply. That isn't the problem with 9/11. The problem with 9/11 is a lack of an indictment against the most obvious suspects. If the Bush Cartel is innocent, let them prove it in court. The evidence available makes that an unlikely outcome.
