Terje: I read a synopsis on this stuff awhile back that concluded
that the Intel-type cpu's have reached the point of diminishing
returns, so if that's correct, and that is the widely-held belief
of many scientists, then it is a pretty far-fetched idea. This so-
called secret processor that's under development is more likely an
answer to the IBM processors that are under development with their
Japanese partners. The latest IBM PowerPC chip, or whatever it's
called, is said to be the world's fastest and it's said to run most
applications at least 16% faster than Intel's fastest chip.
