And you think that Christian domination isn't dying hard? And that it has not and will not result in casualties?

I understand that the two aren't a perfect comparison, but they are, indeed, two examples of die-hard privilege in our lifetimes. The women's movement is the third. Perhaps that comparison would be more apt in many ways and perhaps the Old South has too much baggage to be the best comparison, but making that comparison does not inherently suggest that Christians are like racists. What it does is bring home the point that there is a Christian cultural privilege and that will die hard with enough people to stress our society.
