Sure, but then my contention is that the display of the TC is not per se religious.

When was the last time that the Presiding Bishop of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod (the conservative branch of the Lutherans) made a divisive statement? How about an important Presbyterian official? Greek Orthodox? A lot of Episcopalians may as well be Unitarian Universalists, it has become so liberal a denomination, as has Methodism. Roman Catholics are nowadays considered very tolerant and ecumenically oriented, since Vatican II. I do, indeed, think that complaints by the secular have been blown out of proportion.......
