re: LRDI.OB - Laredo Investments $0.19 Another of the more speculative small company plays. But the company is profitable, even paying taxes (no NOLs left) and has eliminated virtual all longterm debt. It's another competitor in the dietary MASS MARKET area.. Almost 100% weight management. Owns a captive cGMP facility (like MED). Makes the "R&L brand" - sold for example in Costco Canada - plus they do private label deals for 3rd parties.. Beacuse of GMP facility they could even do pharma manufacturing for 3rd parties (GORX went down this route and now aims for it's own generics).. company is aiming for gross margins in contract manufacturing in the 30-40% range.. according to CEO - gross margins on the R&L brand are even higher.. almost no debt on the balance sheet, right now sales level annualized is around $5m but further growth is more than likely here with a market growing 15-30% annually. 32m shares out, stock trades around $0.13 at the moment..
