Al, You guys like to point out that Clinton is a liar, a hypocrite, etc.. but you sure are quick to want to use him when it's convenient.

Ditto for you using conservatives who support your leftist agenda.

Even if Clinton thought that there may have still been WMDs there, he sure would not have invaded the country at a time when UN inspectors were getting unprecedented access (yes, thanks to bush's show of force).

Yes, it's debatable whether Bush should have invaded or not. Yes, it's debatable whether Bush trumped up the Iraqi threat. But no, it's not debatable whether Saddam had WMDs or not. He had them. Bush never lied about that, despite the temptation from partisan Dems to suggest otherwise.

I don't believe Iraq is culturally ready for democracy.

The link you provided didn't say anything about Iraq not being "culturally ready" for democracy. But it did mention that Iraqis are itching to govern themselves. That to me is a democracy, literally a government of the people, for the people, by the people.

Besides, the notion that Iraq isn't "culturally ready" for democracy is elitist and flawed.
