Why was Bush AWOL from the National Guard...? Bush was not AWOL. How come he NEVER served in the military IN COMBAT... So What...many people who serve in the Vietnam era served in the US, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc....What makes such service any les honorable....??? He is NOT a war hero like Clark or Kerry. So what? Cheney conveniently never served either. Cheney did not serve under a legal deferment....like many others in both parties......Bush served honorably in the Texas ANG. What happened to Bush and Harken Energy...? Bush was cleared by the SEC investigation which could find no evidence he did anything wrong. Moreover, the most important element in proving a case of insider trading is the market data surrounding the transaction which could not have been manipulated by Bush. The market data did not support the charges either. Bush has had very little success in the business world...Does that tell us something...? He's also had a stunning success. Clinton had NO experience in the business world....what does that tell us???
