I'm not sure why you choose to ignore what I wrote, but it is your right to duck the issue.

Then as now, the world sat by as a rogue nation invoked the right to preventive war, invading another country out of "self-defense". While nobody like the Polish military junta in 1939, the effect of its removal was far more widespread than expected, because it emboldened the remover. The same holds true today.
