Uh HEEELLOOO!! The UN staff consisted primarily of FOREIGNERS.. IOW, for the willfully ignorant, including those of your ilk, that means anyone who is not Iraqi.
Which means they are all legitimate targets for groups such as the Salafi Wahhabists, who reject all foreign presence on Iraqi (Arab?) soil..
Of course the Iraqis have guns, vehicles, cash, and food and ammunition.
All under the control of various tribal clans and power elites..
So do you wish to be responsible for turning Iraq into 1980's Lebanon?? Tribe against tribe, clan against clan.. religious faction against religious faction, ethnicity against ethnicity??
Lebanon was the "Paris" of the Mid-East until civil war devastated the country, with each side trying to dominate the others.. Maronites, Shiites, Druze.. etc..
Iraq will easily devolve into such civil strife, Kurds and Shiites killing Sunnis, and vice versa... All with the cached hoardes of weapons and explosives around the country.
But you don't care... Let them kill one another.. Watch that civil war drag over into Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Turkey.. etc... Because they all have a stake in creating stability in Iraq and insuring only certain "parties" dominate the political scene there..
And all of that will be blamed on the United States... hundreds of thousands of dead all on YOUR HEAD (and those of your ilk)...
Good thing most of us have a conscience and hopefully will not permit such a scenario to play out.
