this was a machine i bot in 1999 and it was loaded with winME (making progress with it, back up to 85% just closing down and rebooting, removed some start up programs running in the background)

basically though, it still is running slower than advertised with more than a couple of programs running, 4 or 5 just tax it to the limit

i'm sure this really is a onebanana job....i can't even believe i brought it up.<g>

will probably xp the thing and be done with it
