Here's the scope on why we are up (good news for VSVR).

The ProShare incorporates components from VSVR. So, if Intel sells tens of thousands of units, VSVR makes lots o'cash. Maybe Intel will buy VSVR????

D.Telekom (FSE:DTEG) orders Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) video units

Reuters, Tuesday, August 05, 1997 at 11:03

BONN, Aug 5(Reuter) - German phone company Deutsche Telekom AG said on Tuesday it ordered tens of thousands of Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) video conferencing systems for resale to customers in Germany.

The Intel Business Video Conferencing System is based on the company's ProShare technology that personal computers transmit video, computer files and audio over phone lines to other PCs with similar equipment.

The system sells for 1,380 marks and includes ProShare software, a decoder for Telekom's T-Online service and a file transfer program for digital ISDN phone lines.

Business customers' "strong response to Intel's ProShare technology convinced us to extend our commitment to Intel's business products," said Deutsche Telekom mutlimedia product manager Gerhard Gatzmann.

Telekom two weeks ago said German railway Deutsche Bahn AG would install 1,000 Intel conferencing systems to support internal communications over PCs.
Telekom has resold ProShare products since 1994. The products are used for interactive banking kiosks and remote education systems as well as for video conferencing.
