Nice to see you dodged my point about the West needing a stable positive outcome in Iraq and thus eventually being forced to support the effort. Some kind of service for the country does not necessarily mean combat. We have a duty to understand our freedom has a price and more Americans need to appreciate what lies outside the USA good and bad. Yes one of the things the USA has done well is protect good against evil. Think of WWII , Communism and now Islamofascism.
