I've seen various sites that speculate about something other than a passenger jet hitting the Pentagon, but I have yet to see a single one that even pretends to address the obvious question if that were the case. Where did the real passenger jet go if something else hit the Pentagon? A good theory has to cover all the facts and that one just plain doesn't make the grade. DC is a busy place and no one saw a jet get blown out of the sky or pieces falling from the heavens. No flight controllers saw the hijacked plane head out to sea. No foreign countries reported a US passenger jet landing and SWAT teams spiriting the passengers off to secret locations.

It wouldn't be all that hard to make a case for that flight either getting hit with missiles or having on board explosives detonated before actually hitting the Pentagon. Considering how quickly the evidence from flight 93 was destroyed, it's quite possible any parts that fell off before it hit were picked up before any photos were allowed. There were numerous eye witness accounts of a "fast mover" in the vicinity of flight 93 also. The problem with figuring out what happened with the Pentagon crash is so much evidence has been destroyed, altered, or covered up that it's impossible to do more than demand answers on that one. There isn't enough information in the public domain to make a good guess, let alone put together a theory to cover facts that don't exist.
