It is decidedly hard if not impossible to find the truth in a world where all we have to go by is electronic images and essays.

Very true and now we have to wonder about the Dept of Homeland Security and their attempts to monitor the internet. It's assured that they have a lot of people just combing sites and searching out the malcontents. So who are we talking to? Even here. And yes, the CIA would obviously try and use the internet for disinformation purposes. The FBI has to be looking too. It's a small world.
