Yes. If they had to have their own military industrial complex, if they had to develop their own drugs and medical technologies, if they
had to have the infrastructure to support a large population, etc., these nations would fall appart at the seams. And if the United
States didn't have all these things, they most certainly would have to (IF they were to maintain their standards of living).
You have twisted the topic in which the initial assertion was that liberals are parasitic. A couple of points...that the US chooses to maintain a military presence in every geography of the globe has become a perversion of American politics and does not mean that countries in these regions are parasitic. This is a choice WE make. Indeed today more and more countries seek independence from this. Second, some of these countries have adequate military complexes, commensurate with the size of their economies. Denmark today contributes 1000 soldiers to Iraq, and a number of other nations dominate the multinational forces in Afghanistan and Kosovo while the French have more than 5K troops in the Congo, by themselves. Last, I would be remiss if I did not comment on a remarkable piece of nonsense you posted earlier about how your liberal customers come to you looking for tax evasion, while your conservative clients are more than happy to pay their taxes in silence. Your archie bunker mentality shines through once again. What is really sick is that i think you actually believe this hog wash...as if liberals, typically advocates of social programs synonymous with higher tax burdens, try to avoid paying their share in a concerted plot against conservatives.
