My friend replies: Post Blackout There is going to be Switchgear and mainly a contraption called Reactive Power Compensation and HVDC. I'm still here in Brazil pending visa arrangements. Will be in KL in Sept. My reply. I knew that we are much more subtle when we do our 'magic"! Perhapssome amateur have done it ahead you arriving there. Now I have to do a Google search because I know nothing about Reactive Power Compensation. Why is it HVDC part of the modernization deal? Let me know when you're arrving at KL.
