SC: There is another, hidden, objective

LB: And what would that be?

We don't know, its hidden. <g>

Following the money is usually a good indicator, though.

To wit, the Administration says Iraq is critical in the fight against terror, but does not adequately fund or man our mission there. Hmmm.

Bush needs and asks for additional troops from other nations but refuses to cede authority and decision-making to gain said troops. Hmmm.

Why does he so much want to hold onto our sole authority there? Why not share the nation-building chores with the world? It makes sense to bring other nations in, unless...hmmm...unless he does not wish to share, what? (Sorry, thinking out loud here).

What does Iraq have that Bush does not wish to share? Sand? Artifacts? Rubble?

Oil?

No-bid reconstruction projects?

Just speculation on my part, trying to comprehend the incomprehensible.
