Yiwu, China is a great country with millions upon millions of people below poverty line looking to work. The net result would be that China will try to bring about higher standard of living at home which in turn will lower the standard of living in the US and Europe.

The world economies are not at a stage that ALL boats can be lifted, therefore if China's dominance will improve it will affect the global standard of living.

Even now lot's of US and European jobs are lost to China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia etc.

As an example I must pay $2.50 for a pound of tomatoes in Peking you pay 5 cent (if my recollection is right) and same ratio for other produce / products.

Already Garlic growers in the US are sidelined by garlic imported from China ...... the US garlic growers standard of living has fallen substantially ..... they are now in recession
