The Democrats were a good party right up until they went from putting forward Moderate candidates and leaders that tried to help the middle class, to putting forward incredibly left wing liberals that alienate the majority of the middle class in favor of small minority groups. They forgot somewhere along the line that the middle class is (was) their voter base.
