You must have adult ADD. What really happened is the House and Senate looked at the intelligence also and then voted for the Authorization of force to remove Saddam Insane. This resolution even passed the very equally split Senate without a problem. It was not even a close vote--the democrats also believed the intelligence. War was not predicated on the State of the Union address but again by the Authorization of Force by our elected representatives. Bush has nothing to do with the quality of intelligence. He has to rely on the same inadequate information as everybody else. To not rely on whatever intelligence you do have defeats the purpose of collecting intelligence to begin with.
